Ai filter was created to improve protection against short or
strong impulse noise often found in industry and in many other activities.
Both versions are equipped with Ai filter also specially reserved to the

How does the EarPro
®
Ai filter work?
The specific Ai filter increases its attenuation when subjected to a short
and strong sound by blocking the velocity of sound vector air molecules.
Warning: the EarPro
®
Ai filter clips airborne noise and not noise
transmitted by bone vibration, like pneumatic drills for example.
Additional precautions must be taken for hearing safety of these
exposed persons (double protection).
At the average sound level of 80/90 dB, the EarPro
®
Ai filter does not
modify or modifies by very little its response curve, but above 100/105
dB in impulses, the Ai filter activates to provide additional attenuation
up to 25 dB to 170 dB! (detonation).
Reminder: the maximum value of daily exposure considering the
attenuation of the protector:
Lex, 8h = 87 dB(A) and Lp, cmax = 140 dB(C)
