The EarPro
®
filter is a highly innovative piece with
ergonomic design for handling and positioning the
hearing protection. The acoustic attenuation curve
is remarkable. The EarPro
®
filter fits on the moulded
ear tip in highly hypoallergenic silicone. The
acoustic response of EarPro
®
provides protection
against a broad spectrum of frequencies.

Safety = protection and communication
An innovative and highly technological acoustic
filter
The sound is calibrated via acoustic filters. Assembly with double
membranes provides a double safety to stop traumatic noise for
the ear and also allows some types of sound through by calibration.
A stainless steel grille protects everything. Made of hydrophobic
material, the filters are not affected either by moisture or heat.
An ergonomic filter that thinks of everything
These “all in one” filters are the cornerstones of the AudiPack. They
are ergonomic and easily clip onto custom adapters and provide easy
handling. The optional metal balls allow easy detection in the food
production chain. Finally, they are connected by a cord to a clothing
clip for added safety.

patented attenuation curve
Efficient acoustic results
The graph below shows the type of attenuation obtained with EarPro
®
protective filters.
This curve emphasizes:
- Limiting of background noise (low frequencies) present in a workshop.
- The strong attenuation of traumatic frequencies for the ear (high
frequencies) leading over time to irreversible damage and deafness.
- Monitoring the emergence of certain sounds (midrange frequencies)
allowing the EarPro
®
user to keep in touch with his sound environment,
especially the emergence of the laryngeal fundamental of the spoken
voice.
The operator wearing the EarPro
®
anti-noise is protected from noise
present in most industries. Low frequencies are more particularly
present in foundry, glass and metallurgy type industries, and generally
raw material extraction and processing industries. High frequencies
are mainly generated in the boiler making, cardboard, saw mill and
mechanical type industries, and the production and manufacturing
industries in general. An advantageously appropriate response curve
must allow protection in high and low frequencies and the emergence
of certain sounds in the midrange like the voice. This ideal curve
highlights the simplification of the offer, since only one product is
right for all sound spectra encountered. It is said that there is self-
adaptability of the protective device to the noise source.
The abscissa represents the frequency
from 63 to 8,000 Hz and the ordinate of
attenuation from 0 to 50 dB (A). This curve
traces the three areas of attack of the
EarPro
®
filter, the “area G” on the bass
frequencies, then more strongly attenuated
the “Zone A” of the high frequencies and
the third level being the control of the
emergence of medium frequencies on the
“M region”. These frequencies are those of
the energy of the spoken voice.
